Fashion | Cut it Out!

Okay, with the outside temperature (-1 in Amsterdam) it's meaby not the ideal topic. But I wanted to discuss the cut-out trend with you. Be carefull, it's not a trend any one randomly can try at home (remember Kim Kardashian - if not, I won't scare you with the picture. If you must, just Google it but I have warned you).
But with a bit of care and creativity, it can be so damn sexy! Meaby because of the snow outside, I'm being a bit rebellic and dreaming about the cut-out trend. Because, when the sun starts shining.. be ready.. I already picket out my favorite cut-out! For now.. I need to cut-it-out!

The New Leopard Print

It started out a bit with Céline, with a amazing coat in their ready-to-wear 2013 spring collection. It's a leopard printed coat, but not the leopard print as you may know. It's more of a winter-leopard-print, I love it! They don't even try anymore to make the print as realistic as they can, but almost as unrealistic as possible. More of an sketched leopard print. Of course H&M and Zara made some incredible copies, which I have purchased immediately (the H&M skirt..)
Totally a look which you can't go wrong with comming spring!

I have tried once (or twice) to make an sequined dress myself, but I always end up with broken sewing machine needles and lot's of frustration.. Obsession | Festival Kimono

The last couple of days it seems I am a bit obsessed by the kimono.. With Lowlands coming up I would love to have a cool kind-a-like-Nicole-Richie-cool kimono for the late summer evenings during the festival for the bohemian touch. Private | Flea Market Time!

Once a few years I come to the conclusion that my closet might be a bit overcrowded.. Whoops! Time to take some action, and clean the monster! As soon as I made the selection of 'stay' 'throw away' and 'might be useful for what-ever-the-occasion-might-be', (you figure which pile was the largest) I decided to go with my most beautiful old clothes to the flea market to sell them. Once every month you've got a flea market in Amsterdam North 'the IJ-hallen' www.ijhallen.nl and last saturday it was my turn (actually our turn, I went there with my friend Celeste) to sell our clothes and make some money. I had a lot of fun, sold a lot of clothes to lots of cool girls and (not entirety unimportant) made a great final yield! It's for sure an recommendation! Oh, I wanted to make some pictures at the market with my new camera.. but uhmmm.. the battery was low! So sorry!!

Trend | The Feather

It started when I saw this enormous sexy tattoo at a girl of a feather right under her breast, since then the feather seemed to follow me where ever I go. So I can make the conclusion that the feather is a hype at the moment, and - of course - I'm a fan! What about you?
